It's been a long time - over ten years - since I've had a victory against the CSA and that's due to your intervention. Thanks again because with out your help this could have been easily brushed under the carpet. There's a smile on my face. Tony Taylor-Steward (father), CM20

After pressure from Robert Halfon, and a House of Commons debate, a planned New Year fuel duty hike was AXED. Thanks to Robert Halfon, your petrol is a tiny bit cheaper. The Sun Newspaper

Robert Halfon is a great champion of apprenticeships. He has even taken on an apprentice himself - one of the first MPs ever to do so. John Hayes MP - Apprenticeships Minister

I commend what Robert Halfon did with his e-petition on cheaper petrol last year. His campaign resulted in the postponement of a tax increase that was due earlier in 2012. Sir George Young - Leader of the House of Commons

I should pay tribute to my friend Robert Halfon. He has led a dogged campaign on behalf of the people of Harlow - and indeed the whole country - to try and get some relief from the increases in petrol taxes that were planned by the last Labour Government. I am delighted that we have been able to help. And of course I always listen to Essex Man, and its representative in the form of Robert Halfon. George Osborne MP - Chancellor of the Exchequer

I am very happy to both support and pay tribute to the effort of Robert Halfon. He is a model example of how an individual member of Parliament can make a real difference, by identifying an issue where they can transform people`s prospects. His work on apprenticeships is a credit to him. Chris Grayling MP - Employment Minister

During the election I voted Lib Dem... If the general election was tomorrow I would vote Conservative without a doubt and would like to thank you and your party for the fabulous job you have done so far. Carl, CM20

I have not always made an attempt to vote in the past. However I really loved the spirit of your campaigning, the fact that you stood out every day in the rush hour with your big sign, smiling even when it was raining! I remember going into the town centre and speaking to you and I said how important it was at the time that something was done about the fast-rising fuel prices. I just wanted to thank you for the hard work you are doing on our behalf. I`m glad I voted for you, as you have attempted to do what you said you would. Andrea, CM20

We were both impressed by your genuine interest and enthusiasm for the town, and your commitment. Jackie and Rosemary

This is a letter to let you know that my family and I truly appreciate your support... when we turned to you, we were not let down. Theresa, CM18

You have been very helpful with our case.  Your time, interest and words of encouragement have indeed been very uplifting for us. Di, CM18

My mum and I can't thank you enough for fighting our corner. Sam and Anne, CM20

Thank you so much for your prompt and helpful response - I know you to be sincere and this shows in your reply. (On reforms to the NHS.) Helen, CM20

I know you are doing a great job for us in this town. Bill, CM18

It's nice to know that someone cares and is fighting my case for me. Stephen, CM17

Thank you for you e-mail, this is exactly the reason I vote conservative! I am really pleased the public's concerns have been listened to and I want to thank you again for your input into this. (On the future of forests in the UK.) Lisa, CM18

Thank you for caring and listening. (On Robert's campaign for lower fuel duty.) Stuart, CM20

The way you and the Coalition Government have acted in this matter is a great example of how Parliament can and should react to the voice of the people. (On the future of the forests in the UK) Alan, CM20

It was a privilege and honour to be invited to the House of Commons and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity. I honestly hadn't given much thought to our local MPs and the work they do in Central Government but our visit really opened our eyes. I'm so please you are my local MP. Rachel, CM20

Do pass on our congratulations to Robert for his sterling efforts in Parliament yesterday.  We have all been greatly encouraged by his stand on fuel prices which is effecting the people of Harlow and around the UK. Gary Knott, Director of Community Services MRCT
