Following constant lobbying from Harlow’s MP, Robert Halfon, for more funding for Harlow College, the Education Secretary has announced an extra £1.5 million for the college to deliver new Construction, Digital and Health & Science T Levels.
Commenting on the news, Robert Halfon MP said: “I have worked hard for many years in Parliament to secure more money for our brilliant college. We are lucky to have one of the best colleges in the country in our town with incredible teaching and support staff - who are doing so much in these difficult times.
“The £1.5 million announced today comes on top of £1.5 million recently announced to upgrade the college as well as the £12 million Advanced Manufacturing Centre that students are already benefiting from. All of this Government investment into our college shows that we are building an even better Harlow and championing education and apprenticeships in our town.”
