Harlow's MP, Robert Halfon, has had a number of meetings with Ministers and Public Health Officials to step up coronavirus testing in Harlow. New rapid testing sites have opened in Harlow to test asymptomatic residents and people who work in the town.

The test results are available within 30 minutes and identify residents who may be carrying the virus but do not have symptoms.

Commenting on the announcement, Robert Halfon MP said: "This is an important step in our battle against the virus. I have worked hard to ensure that we have one of these test sites in the town to ensure that we can identify more people with the virus - to break the chain of transmission.

"I would strongly encourage any resident who does not have symptoms to get a test at the site. By doing so, they will be doing their part to protect the NHS and save lives."

If you do not have symptoms, you can book a test here.

If you have coronavirus symptoms, book a test here.
